About Me

Want To Know The Secret Of How I Turned My Life Around? Read On…

My life was a total trainwreck!

I had just finished college when it happened. Out of the blue, my long-term girlfriend dumped me!

Not to my face or even by a phone call. She got one of her friends to text me to break the news!

I felt absolutely worthless.

Now, I’d love to tell you that I decided there and then that I would change my life but this is a true story, so let’s continue.

I was nineteen when I moved to London, just a few short weeks after my unceremonious dumping.

All alone in a city where I knew no one, I quickly found myself becoming depressed, anxious and self-destructive.

I would consume ridiculous amounts of alcohol and stay out into the early hours of the morning trying to dull whatever it was that I was feeling.

Often I would lock myself in my university dorm room, emerging only to get food and then scurrying back to safety.

In my desperation, I did what thousands of people in my situation have done. I tried to Google my way out of my hardships.

I didn’t know that my self-improvement journey had already started, but I was finally beginning to recognise the path that I was on.

Over the next few years I read about every area of self-help that existed:

  1. Psychology
  2. Therapy
  3. Counselling
  4. Philosophy
  5. The Law of Attraction
  6. Coaching
  7. Life Force/Energy
  8. Chi
  9. Ego
  10. Happiness
  11. Meditation and Mindfulness
  12. Spirituality
  13. Religion
  14. Pick Up Artistry & Seduction – not a proud time in my life
  15. Stoicism

And so much more…

I became obsessed with the idea what I have come to know as the Roger Bannister Effect – Bannister is the first man to run a 4-minute mile.

In other words, I was obsessed with what the limits are on our potential and how easily they can change.

Once I fully committed to this journey – though I didn’t fully know what that meant – I immediately quit my Law degree.

Instead, I started from scratch and eventually earned a BSc in Psychology.
